Beyond Box Ticking – Children’s Participation

This "cookbook" is the result of Clowns Without Borders UK's work with children at Mayflower Primary in Tower Hamlets, London. With support from Arts Council England, we pioneered an approach to children's participation asa credible and vital part of our governance. It comes from a profound belief that given the chance, all children have the remarkable potential to be powerful agents of change in their communities and beyond.

We hope it serves as a useful introduction for those taking the first step toward children's participation in governance.
